Travels in Alaska We finished the installation at Copper Center ahead of schedule. As a result, we were able to check out some more of Alaska. One day we took a tour boat out of Valdez through Prince William Sound. Later we drove up to Paxson and took the Denali Highway (135 miles of unmaintained road) over to Denali National Park & Preserve and spent a day hiking.
