In
2006 I decided to make prints of some of my paintings available
for sale to the public. All of the prints in this section
are giclees (pronounced zhee-clay, a French word for "a
spray or jet of liquid"), a fine art printing method
first developed in 1989.
Each
one is digitally reproduced from an original painting I've
produced. Some of the original oil paintings have been sold
while others are still available for purchase. At this point
these prints are not available anywhere else but right here
on this website.
The giclees are produced by Staples
Fine Art in Richmond, Virginia. They use a proprietary
process they have trademarked Heritage Giclees®. The
prints are produced with pigment-based inks with an estimated
lightfastness rating exceeding 130 years, the longest life
expectancy in the industry.
They are printed and mounted on acid-free archival paper
or canvas and each print is signed and numbered and accompanied
with a certificate of authenticity from the printer to guarantee
that the limited edition will indeed be just that.
